What is a zine?
A fanzine or zine is a non-official publication made by fans. In the form of physical books or digital PDFs, it often contains fics and art for a specific fandom/ship/event.What is Selfish Desires: A Bakucest Zine?
Selfish Desires is a free digital-only fanzine centered around Bakugou Selfcest aka Bakucest. It will contain both fics and art and be divided into two sections: NSFW and Problematic.What counts as Bakucest?
For the purpose of this zine, Bakucest or Bakugou Selfcest is when two or more Bakugous are engaged in romantic or sexual relations. The Bakugous can come from any Alternate Universe, a quirk accident, or whichever setting creators can come up with! There are no limits!However, we will not count incest (ex. Mitsuki/Katsuki) as Bakucest. The only exception will be if it is a Twins AU (since Katsuki does not have a canon twin).Who can contribute?
As Selfish Desires will contain explicit sexual material, all contributors must be 18 years of age or older. No minors will be allowed to participate.Will other characters be allowed?
As Bakucest is already a very niche ship, we will not allow any other characters to mingle with the primary Bakucest ship. This is to avoid scenarios where for example, two Bakugous are pleasuring a third character but do not interact with each other. We put this rule in so that there is as much Bakucest content as possible in the zine as there is already very little content for them out there.Are there any content restrictions?
For the main NSFW portion, we will not allow non-con, main character death, vomit, scat, excessive gore, underage, vore, necrophilia, incest, bestiality, and cannibalism.The problematic/darker adult themes section will not have any content restrictions.All pieces will be tagged.How many contributors will be accepted?
We plan to have approximately 20 writers and 22 artists, guests included. We will have 5 guest writers, 5 guest artists, and 2 cover artists. (This may be subject to change.)What are contributor requirements?
If accepted, artists will be required to create a full-body coloured illustration with simple background and writers will be required to create a 1-3k fic with a leeway of 500 words.How will mods communicate with the contributors?
We will be using Discord to communicate with contributors and this will be a requirement to participate in the zine.What are the requirements for applying?

App Guidelines
General:
All contributors must be 18+ to apply.
All works submitted for applications must be viewable to the public and accessible.
All works must be tagged for fandom, pairings, content/trigger warnings, and top/bottom dynamics if applicable.
Artists:
3-4 samples of best work with at least 1 piece that features Bakugou. Examples of Bakucest are highly encouraged, but not required.
At least 1 sample must feature NSFW.
At least 1 sample should be a full-body coloured illustration with simple background.
Pieces will be judged on composition, use of colour, and creativity.
writers & betas:
2-3 samples of best work with at least 1 piece that features Bakugou. Examples of Bakucest are highly encouraged, but not required.
At least 1 sample must feature NSFW.
Samples should be min. 1.5k words. Total amount of words must not exceed 8k.
Twitter threads will not be accepted as submissions, please reformat to a Google Doc or similar to be accepted.
At least one submission must be a complete story. Excerpts are allowed, but please link the rest of the story at the end.
Pieces will be judged on characterization, flow of story, grammar/spelling, and ability to complete a story in short form.
